Jonathon Lynn
13.1lb Northern Giant—Near Indiana State Record!
March proved you don’t need to head south to catch a monster bass.
Jonathon Lynn landed a 13.1 lb Lunker—in an Indiana farm pond!
That’s a true “teener” anywhere, but in Indiana—where the state record is 14 lbs 12 oz — Wowzah!
Hoping it might be a new state record, Jonathon kept the bass alive in a large cooler and called his dad and brother to bring digital scales. After 3 independent scales read within 2 ounces of each other, he realized it fell just short.
So what did Jonathon do?
He released the fish alive—rather than risk its life to get it certified. That’s a true sportsman move. And who knows… maybe next spring, she’ll weigh 14 lbs 14 oz.
Wyatt Paden
Wyatt Paden , Delaware 9 lbs, 2 oz
Delaware state record is 11 lbs, 1oz
“I downloaded Bass Forecast but never used it…then saw a good rating coming up so went out and caught my PB”
Megan Rivers
Megan Rivers, Texas 9.03 lbs.

The Single Biggest Key to Catching a Lunker Bass
For the past five years, we've been obsessed with one goal: helping bass anglers dramatically improve their odds of catching giant bass—without needing a lifetime of trial and error on the water.
To do it, we’ve partnered with the nation’s top bass biologists, big-bass specialists, researchers, and authors to study what makes double-digit bass tick.
Here’s the truth: Big bass don’t feed like the rest.
They feed infrequently and cautiously—mostly when Mother Nature lines up the perfect predation conditions. That’s what keeps them alive long enough to grow massive.
Bass fishing biologist research has proven that big bass are different. They are PROACTIVE feeders that feed best when conditions are optimal. In a 2025 podcast, the undisputed GOAT of big bass fishing, Butch Brown, said nearly all of his giants were caught during specific weather windows. This is a man who has caught over 1,500 bass weighing 10+ pounds, including dozens of “teeners.” His personal best? A jaw-dropping 19.3 pounds.
So how do you know when those windows are coming?
We engineered a powerful, dead-simple solution: BassForecast EPIC Day™ Mobile Alerts.
This feature automatically flags the highest-probability big-bass feeding windows—up to 10 days in advance—and sends you alerts straight to your phone, 24/7, 365 days a year.
By knowing in advance, you’ll have a real shot at shifting your schedule and getting on the water when the odds are stacked in your favor. Stack more EPIC Days into your season… and one day soon, your new PB will find you.
