Customer Catch Story: Jim Gebing

“Always go fishing when bass forecast shows the bite to be green and always try to be on the water during the prime feeding times. 7:43a was the start of the prime hour for today. Just before 8am, we started cranking a 12ft hump that dropped into 15ft of water and after 4-5 handle cranks of bottom contact, you could feel the bait getting pushed to the side. I lost contact with the bait so I thought I had missed it only then for the rod to completely load up, stopping dead. She came to the surface quickly but never jumped. Thought for sure she was a 10 but she was a short fish that looked like she had swallowed a bowling ball. 9.30 on the scale.”
