“I was flipping into some brush piles from the bank. Did a maintenance cast and thout to myself it has been cold maybe they might be a little deeper than what I had been fishing so I'll work it back not expecting to catch anything bigger then a pound or 2. I hopped my jig off the bottom a couple times and on the third hop she hit it. Reeled down and when I set the hook, it felt like i set my hook into a brick wall and the fight was on.”
