“It was opening day in this reserve I was fishing. I went after work and fished from 5:30pm to right at dark (7:15pm). Of course I say last cast, because it was getting dark so I tossed my senko under a bridge that had some water flowing under it and BAM she hit, I set the hook and was fighting her only to realize how big she really was when I got her close to the boat. It’s a marshy area so they have alligators. I had to get her in quick because a alligator was swimming towards me to see all the commotion. So I got her close and hurried up Lipped her and got her in the boat. I was shaking because it was my personal best. It was a moment I won’t ever forget!”
