“We had purchased a new small 10-ft Bass Pro Shops Pond Prowler and trolling motor so we could try fishing our lake from other than the bank. Had not been able to get it out the first month due to bad weather weekends. It was the first weekend for great weather and the bass forecast was reasonable so we made our maiden voyage and cruised the shores of the entire upper lake, around 4 hours. Was really trying to get a feel for the boat and fishing was secondary. Tossed my lure up into an empty dock and she hammered it. Had it all on go pro. My new personal best of 8 pounds 9 ounces. Only bass I caught all day but worth it. Unfortunately lost my PB bait later to a very large catfish.”
