“I had been looking at the app to see what baits were best for the day, and one of them was a spinnerbait. I knew that the bass in our neighborhood pond loved the Ozark Trail spinnerbaits so I decided to use that. I threw it around a few times in one spot but didn’t get any bites, so I moved. I cast once in the new spot, I let the bait sink a little ways, and I started reeling in. I had almost reeled it in all the way, when out of nowhere the bass grabbed the lure. It wasn’t much of a fight since she was right at the bank. I got her out, weighed her, snapped a pic or two. And got her back in the water.”
