“The Fishing forecast was rated as poor, so knew that I needed to slow down and fish thoroughly and downsize my baits. I was having a decent night fishing for Crappie. Then this big bass decided to jump on my line. I had an ultralight set up with 4lb line. The rod was bent totally in half and the drag screamed and repeatedly screamed with every surge of this Bass. I thought I had a Catfish on the line. I was patient and just kept firing and fighting and reminding myself that I have 4 lbs line and an ity-bity crappie jig. Eventually, this big girl came to the Surface, and I was in shock! I reached down and scooped her up.”
