“I fished for about 10 hours that day. The bass were definitely coming out of their winter haunts and going to their pre-spawn areas. Most of the fish I was targeting were in the 18 ft range but they were all young males just moving up. I knew that the big females would be somewhere up shallower. It was at the end of the day I was heading back to the boat ramp and she bit in 10 ft of water.”
