“Honestly if I remember right BF had it listed as a lower daily rating. But I'm not one to let much of anything kng stop me from getting out on the water to do some "Catchin" as I call it. Mainly cause if I said fishin that makes it sound like a toss up on if I'm gonna catch or for me how many or how big really! So I let that fact of the matter be what I call it N that is "Catchin"! Ne ways pretty sure either the minor or the major was around 5:30 or 6 that evening so was sure to atleast use BF's prediction or BF Solnar for that much. And if I remember correctly my third cast out with the ol Berkeley Choppo The Hog Slammed it! Much to my surprise pretty close r o shore maybe 6 ft our of the bank. Obviously I was bank fishin. And really only reason I say I was surprised is the clarity at the Lil pond was honestly "HDef" and I wouldn't have thought it being so high resolution that such a Lunker of a LMBass would hit because I'm sure he could see me! But anyways I caught it at I little community pond that every time I drove by it I thought the signs said "NoFishin". Well anyways that day I was look for new spots on google maps and saw that this pond that I thought the signs said "no fishing" that I drove by every time I went to a different fishin hole around the corner from it. At the time I was going to pretty regularly. Anyways vome to find out google maps labeled the Lil community pond that this lunker came out of. As Verona fishing pond. So needless to say the signs I thought said "no fishing" more than likely said something else. I mean why would google maps have it labeled as a fishing pond if you werent supposed to fish it. So that even during one if the high fish activity time like I said b4 don't remember if it was the major or the minor but I know I had got there right after it had started. N 2nd or 3rd cast he slammed my plopper hard! O and come to fins out on arrival to the pond that the signs actually said "No Motor Vehicles" lol honestly was thinking I had stop b4 to see what the said to be sure or not if I could fish there or not. And for some reason I was thinking when I did stop to read them b4 I had remember them saying no fish but obviously totally remembered wrong! Thank my Lucky Bass that I noticed "Fishing Pond " on google maps because if I hadn't I wouldn't have been able to share the Hog of a Lunker out of a Lil Bitty pond! Although I will say the pic that I submitted with it doesn't do it justice at all it hard to tell the size in that particular one. I also took a pic of it beside my Foot which I wear a size 14. And it was pretty much double the length. And made my size Men's 14 look like a men's size 7. I also took a pic of it along side my RealTree Rodn reel Combo to be a better representation in comparison of its size!”
