“I had dropped my kids off at school, decided to go fishing and was getting absolutely skunked. Thought about going home when my gut said "go back where you started." So I did and checked to see what the best lure choices for rock were and it said a jig fished slow. I had already been doing slow with my jig and medium speed was next best so I decided to get a little more aggressive with my jig retrieve. Cast into 18 inches of water next to a big boulder and started my retrieve more medium speed and WHAM! Huge swirl and never saw her jump so when I got her to the bank I was pleasantly surprised and doing major victory dances. Personal best fish and only fish of that day.”
