“I was out fishing a mid lake hump for smallmouth and wasn’t getting any bites. That when I checked bass forecast and it suggested using a wacky rig. I tied it on and on my dirt cast caught a smaller fish. Took a couple more with no luck then hooked the big one. Got the fish to the boat and almost lost it trying to net it . I then got a quick weight and some pictures before realizing the fish.”
