“It was early about 8:30 and I had been catching small bass and crappie all weekend. and I decided to throw something big so I could catch a big bass but also something a walleye would bite. So I found my storm searchbait and started throwing deep for walleye and I didn’t get any bites so I turn and throw it more shallow and I threw about three casts and was about to go do something else so I said why not one more and hooked her thinking it was a pike or monster walleye and saw her jump and and new she was a lunker my heart was racing and my dad grabbed the scale and I broke my previous pb of 6.3 by 1.5 pounds so I was hyped.”
