“Based on BassForecast recommendations, I tied on a wacky rig and proceeded to work the grass flats very slowly. The BassForecast app said that we were just on the waning side of a full moon, so I knew there would be a good chance of bigger fish being out and about on the prowl. After a couple of hours of working numerous grassy, deep flats, BAM! The big girl finally showed up and slammed my worm. She took it and started swimming behind me so I quickly set the hook. The fight was on! She peeled drag for 20 seconds then she was worn out and came right in to my net. Although she's not a PB for me, she is the biggest fish I've caught in this particular lake.”
