“It was a windy rainy day (pretty typical for springtime on the Oregon coast), usually I don’t fish on days like this but BassForecast said it should be a decent bite so I went anyway. I had only been there for a half hour or so, but the wind and rain were becoming unbearable. My casts were getting blown everywhere and my clothes were getting soaked. I wasn’t catching anything and I was ready to head home. I decided to try one last spot, I tied on one of the apps recommended baits (wacky rig) and threw it out. I felt the fish take it and set the hook, next thing you know I had my new personal best bass on the bank!”
