“Mom and Dad were doing some yard work while 5-year-old Rowen was fishing in the pond in the back yard... Dad looked to check on him and saw a splash, watched for a minute to see what he had caught, and immediately rushed to help! Rowen pulled in an 11.29-pound Largemouth Bass right by himself! Dad grabbed him at the bank, but he fought it for 2 minutes right by himself, never lost him, and didn't break the line. The catch of a lifetime for this kid! And on top of it, it was his birthday week! For his 6th Birthday, he got a nice Bass mount! Mom and Dad are so incredibly proud of this little fisherman! Caught in Douglas, GA, private pond”
