November 21, 2024 Bass Fishing Update 🎣

Bass fishing fanatics! Dive in and explore all three Bass Fishing Outlook maps for this week below. Make sure you don’t miss it — scroll down to check out the latest Bass High Wind Outlook.

10 day bass fishing outlook for this week.

Far Southwest – Seasonally warm temps creating EPIC/GOOD bass feeding conditions before the next cold front hits this weekend.

South Central to South East – A 3 day warm trend begins today and moves eastward. Using BassForecast EPIC/GOOD day Mobile Bass Alerts to time your outing is much more important this time of year than Spring through early fall. Water temps have dropped below thermal optimum for bass. They won’t feed as often, but when they do, you don’t want to miss it.

This time of year, Bass will binge feed when conditions are optimal and the BassForecast feeding mood activity rating algorithm & formula is engineered to take into account the lag time between air and water indexed exactly to the thermal optimum of a bass. Use those EPIC/GOOD day Mobile Bass Alerts to squeeze in some bass fishing before all the relatives drive you nuts on Thanksgiving.

The Northern 2/3 of the US - While the bite may be slow, you can still catch them by adapting to conditions. LOOK at the Adapted Patterns feature in your app at least 5 days ahead to see best bet baits, lake locations and presentations. When 2 or 3 bites is a “Good Day,” you want to be prepared with what you need and have enough time to buy what you don’t have but may need for the conditions.

BassForecast - Ned Rig

Jig – A great bait to use when fish are hugging closer to bottom or in sparse weeds. Slow roll and bounce off cover and rocks, especially during tough conditions.

Umbrella Rig – An absolute must have late fall and early winter bait when there are shad around.

Flutter Spoon – When a cold snap causes a shad die off, slack lining a flutter Spoon can produce amazing results. Be sure to slack line to allow a natural fluttering motion. BUT - Keep your rod tip pointed down and follow your slack line closely so you can set the hook quickly when you get bit because they will spit the spoon quickly.

Suspending Jerkbait - Cover lots of water in and around the backs of creeks, steep banks and points with a jerk, jerk pause cadence.
