Now on to the Bass Fishing Outlook of the week.

10 day bass fishing outlook for this week.

BassHeads, If you're jonesing to bass fish anytime in the next 10 days do whatever it takes (WIT) to get out there in the next 5 days...beg, borrow, steal, negotiate. Because a wicked cold front is coming mid next week for everywhere except Southern California.  So, unless you have an invite from "The Rock" to fish his private pond in LA next weekend, get out this weekend because fishing next weekend is going to be very tough.

Bass Season Forecast:

Bass Patterns will be changing rapidly this week across most of the nation.  Because water temps lag air temps, using the degree and length of temperature change is a key part of our secret sauce and what makes BassForecast so unique and accurate at detecting seasonal pattern changes.

So, no matter what your buddies or local lake intel says, it's likely to be "old news" much faster than during other times of year.  If you go in the next 10 days, be sure to also consult BassForecast Adapted Pattern recommendations and top 5 baits, locations and presentations because they are based on matching real time weather adjusted for the time lag, indexed species specific to bass with industry best source data.

Top 5 Baits to have on hand 11/14/2024 - 11/23/2024
Based on the weather forecast and seasonal bass pattern intel:

Spinnerbait – Adjust the weight and blade size to the water depth and suggested presentation speed to cover water. If “SLOW” presentation suggested, use larger Colorado style blades and a light to medium weight head. If “FAST” is suggested, use smaller willow leaf blade(s) and a heavier head.Spinnerbait – Choose blade size and weight based on water depth

Jig – A great bait to use when fish are hugging closer to bottom or in sparse weeds. Slow roll and bounce off cover and rocks, especially during tough conditions.

Buzzbait – Whenever the water temp is above 50 degrees, you see any bait moving and the wind is blowing, aggressive bass will blow up on a buzzbait.Buzzbait: Use when water temperatures exceed 50°F for aggressive surface strikes.

Lipless Crankbait – Remember, after the lake turns over in the fall, bass will be moving and chasing. A lipless crankbait is a great way to locate them.

Suspending Jerkbait - Cover lots of water in and around the backs of creeks, steep banks and points with a jerk, jerk pause cadence.
