Michael Mulcahy Story Catch

“I was out on my fishing kayak and oddly on a BFR 2.5 day I was reeling in bass after bass. I started to make my third pass on a point I was fishing with a jig, when in about 3-4 feet of water I noticed that my line start to slowly swim off so I set the hook. When I set the hook I could tell it was a better fish but I don’t know immediately that is was gonna be a PB. When I first saw the fish I yelled, “HOLY CRAP! THATS A FREAKIN PB!” After I pulled her out of the water I was shaking so badly and I could not believe the size of that fish… its mouth was huge. I put her on my stringer and paddled over to the marine where a kind man took the picture that I submitted and thankfully she was very healthy and swam off a-ok.”
